SHIPPING AND DELIVERY POLICY

CUSTOM-BUILT ORDERS
Every Arcade Geeks machine is custom-built to the customer’s selected specification, configured and tested before dispatch.
Production and delivery times begin from order acceptance and may be affected by the complexity of the machine, artwork approval, component availability and seasonal demand.
-
MAINLAND UK TIMESCALES
The usual estimated build and dispatch period for a mainland UK order is approximately 1–3 weeks.
Complex, heavily customised or themed orders, and orders placed during busy or peak periods, may take up to 12 weeks from order acceptance.
By placing an order, the customer accepts that the extended period may apply.
All timescales are estimates unless Arcade Geeks expressly guarantees a date in writing.
Progress updates are available on reasonable request. The absence of a separate update does not shorten the applicable agreed turnaround period.
-
MAINLAND UK DELIVERY CHARGES
Standard mainland UK delivery is included with qualifying arcade-machine orders where stated on the product page or at checkout.
Additional charges may apply to:
• Non-mainland destinations.
• Remote or restricted postcodes.
• Islands.
• Special-access deliveries.
• Redelivery or storage.
• Customer-requested delivery arrangements.
• Services outside the delivery method included with the order.
Any applicable charge will be displayed at checkout or agreed before dispatch.
-
STANDARD MACHINE DELIVERY
Most standard-sized machines are dispatched using a tracked delivery service.
Where DPD Next Day is used, “next day” refers to the carrier service after dispatch. It does not mean the machine will be manufactured and delivered on the day after the order is placed.
Tracking information is normally issued after the order has been prepared and accepted by the carrier.
-
LARGE AND ELITE MACHINES
Larger machines may be delivered by our in-house team or by pallet freight.
Elite machines delivered by pallet are kerbside-only.
Where Arcade Geeks separately confirms an in-house delivery service, the arrangements expressly agreed for that delivery will apply.
Pallet and courier drivers are not authorised to:
• Carry a machine inside the property.
• Take a machine upstairs or downstairs.
• Remove doors or other fixtures.
• Position or install a machine.
• Dispose of pallets or packaging unless expressly agreed.
The customer must arrange enough suitable assistance to move the machine safely from the delivery point.
-
ACCESS REQUIREMENTS
Before ordering, the customer must check:
• Doorway and hallway dimensions.
• Gates, paths and external access.
• Steps, stairs and changes in floor level.
• Corners and turning space.
• Lifts and weight restrictions.
• Parking or loading restrictions.
• The dimensions and weight of the selected machine.
Failure to check access does not make the machine faulty or create a cancellation right.
Movement, lifting, positioning or installation beyond the agreed delivery point is carried out at the customer’s risk.
Reasonable redelivery, aborted-delivery, storage and additional handling charges may apply where delivery cannot be completed because of inadequate access, an unavailable recipient or circumstances within the customer’s control.
-
DELIVERY ADDRESS
Orders can only be delivered to the delivery address supplied at the point of purchase.
The customer is responsible for checking that the delivery address is complete and accurate before submitting the order.
The delivery address cannot be changed after the order has been placed.
Arcade Geeks is not responsible for delay, failed delivery or loss caused by incomplete or inaccurate delivery information supplied by the customer.
-
RECEIVING THE DELIVERY
The customer must ensure that a suitable adult is available to receive the order.
Delivery to the address and recipient provided with the order will normally constitute completed delivery.
Where a customer requests that goods be left in a nominated safe place, with a neighbour or otherwise without a direct handover, any resulting risk will be assessed in accordance with the request and applicable law.
-
MISSED, REFUSED OR REARRANGED DELIVERY
If delivery is missed, refused, redirected, rearranged or otherwise altered at the customer’s request after dispatch, reasonable redelivery, return, storage and administration charges may apply.
A refusal of delivery does not itself cancel the Contract or create an automatic refund entitlement.
Customer-requested redirection, delay or rearrangement may affect our ability to establish responsibility for any later transit-related damage or deterioration.
-
INSPECTION ON ARRIVAL
The customer should inspect the packaging and machine when it arrives.
Where the packaging or machine shows visible damage, the customer should refuse delivery where reasonably possible and record the damage with the driver or carrier.
Accepting visibly damaged goods without recording the damage may affect the evidence available for a courier claim.
-
REPORTING TRANSIT DAMAGE
Visible transit damage must be reported to Arcade Geeks within 48 hours of delivery.
The report should include clear photographs of:
• Every side of the external packaging.
• Legible shipping labels.
• All internal packaging.
• The complete machine.
• The specific damage reported.
All packaging must be retained while the matter is investigated.
Delayed notification, discarded packaging or incomplete evidence may affect our ability to establish when or how the damage occurred and to recover losses from the delivery provider.
-
DELIVERY DELAYS
Estimated dates may be affected by:
• Component or material availability.
• Complex artwork or specification changes.
• Peak-period demand.
• Courier disruption.
• Customs processing.
• Severe weather.
• Road closures.
• Failed delivery attempts.
• Customer-requested changes.
• Access problems.
• Events outside our reasonable control.
Arcade Geeks is not responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Where a delay occurs, we will continue to perform the order within a reasonable period having regard to the circumstances and the agreed specification.
-
EUROPEAN UNION DELIVERY
EU orders usually require approximately 2–3 weeks for build and dispatch, although complex, customised, themed or peak-period orders may take longer and may take up to 12 weeks.
EU orders are normally sent using a tracked international delivery service.
The customer is responsible for:
• Import duties.
• Import VAT and local taxes.
• Customs handling or clearance fees.
• Providing information required by customs or the carrier.
• Ensuring that the goods may lawfully be imported at the destination.
Arcade Geeks must declare the correct description and value of the goods. Orders will not be under-declared or marked as gifts.
Customs delays are outside our direct control.
-
DESTINATIONS OUTSIDE THE UK AND EU
Arcade Geeks currently delivers within the United Kingdom and European Union only unless a separate international arrangement is agreed in writing before purchase.
